Some love stories are written in the stars, but Tyler and Madisen’s was written on the playgrounds of All Saints Episcopal School. Back in Pre-K, they met between slides and swing sets in their hometown of Tyler, Texas—two tiny humans with no idea they had just found their forever.

Fast forward a few years, and their first official date was to see Pirates of the Caribbean. Madisen, ever the planner, brought a friend along—just in case the vibes weren’t quite right. But as fate would have it, the vibes were more than right. From that moment on, they were inseparable.

Since eighth grade, Tyler and Madisen have been each other’s constant—through high school, college, and beyond. They both chose to attend Southern Methodist University, building even more memories together on the blvd, at date parties and exploring Dallas. After graduation, Madisen pursued her dream of becoming a doctor, tackling the challenges of medical school with Tyler always by her side, cheering her on every step of the way. Meanwhile, Tyler pursued a career in finance.

Then came the moment they had both been waiting for. On a breezy day in Malibu, Tyler got down on one knee on the pier—so caught up in the moment that he nearly dropped the ring into the ocean! Luckily, he held on tight, and with a very enthusiastic “yes” from Madisen, their next chapter officially began.

Now, almost 14 years later, they are putting down roots in Dallas in their first home, where they share their lives with their three beloved cats. As they prepare to say “I do” this May, they are filled with excitement to celebrate with family and friends—because their love story has always been about growing together, supporting each other, and making a lifetime of memories, one adventure at a time.
